Hey Dudes, I was over in Hamble checking out all the new hardware for the Comedy Cup. Silk Glove looks awesome, sweet machine and looking at the results Barringtin is onto a winner.
Jump looks the same but i heard the fancy keel is gone is that all they have done?
I see the new blondie is flying those boys must be happy with 1st, i heard a whisper the rig isnt 100% and the sails look cut down, have north made a cock up or is it for rating.
I didnt see voodoo on the water although she registered and wheres tiamat? |

| Think Voodoo broke some gear. Tiamat isnt finished yet. Are you referring to the over length boom on Blondie? If so, it is so that the track can be behind the helm. |

Twas a good shake down but a bit early to make any sweeping predictions...
Voodoo broke her boom on the way to the start so that was her out for the day...
Blondie IV was quick and there's surely loads left in the tank as the boat is brand new. Jump was beaten by 13 seconds in the first race. She won the 2nd race having missed the start, so seems to be on the pace. She has her 2007 keel on. The trim tab was binned at the end of 2006. Over winter 2007 she had a paint job and a few minor tweaks done.
The crews were a bit ring rusty and I'm sure that 2008 should see a great battle between these 2.
Silk Glove looked smart. First race was very one sided so kinda suited the A-sail set up. Again, very early days, but indications are positive.
2005 Tiamat for sale, 2008 Tiamat still in build.
I reckon that the ICRA's in May will be the first real indicator when all crews have managed to get the boats dialled in for the season and everyone is in the groove.
2008 looks like being a cracker.... |

Hopefully coming over to the Nationals as it fits in nicely with Bell Lawrie.
I also understand, if the boat arrives that the new King 40 up here is Scotland will be over too but delivery time is delayed. |

I heard the old Tiamat has been sold to Jersey.
Interesting line up for Scottish Series. Jerry Trentesaux is bringing his new First 45, Lady Courrier. The new Ker 39, Wow, the new Tiamat, Jump, etc. will all be there. |

| Lots of rumours but nothing concrete yet. It will certainly be bigger and faster... maybe 65 to 70 ft. |
