Here are two snaps from yesterday off Roches Point light house of the start of the feeder race from Cork to Howth as part of next weeks ICRA National Championships. Boats featured are Antix Eile (Silver Glove), Jump and Voodoo all of which are part of the Irish White team challenging for the Rolex Commodores Cup next month.
The photos also include the white hull of X Yacht 'D-Tox'. It is understand Mike McCarthys, 'Checkmate' is set to follow up on Saturday post theri completion og the OneSailMcWilliam Series in Kinsale.
Also, regular attendee Barry Rose's Obsession is loaded on her trailer ready to go. Other Cork boats are said to be travelling up during the week. The three day event is this year host at Howth Yacht Club and once again sponsored by Saab. The event promises to showcase the best of Irish cruiser racer talent in a mix of windward leeward and around the cans races.
All eyes will be on the yachts taking part in the Commodores Cup next month.
