'THE REGATTA' TO AIR ON SKY SPORTS

 In the event you did not get the see ‘The Regatta’ which was previously broadcast as part of RTE’s Christmas line up, the production, entitled The Regatta, was shot over four days in Dublin Bay during this year’s regatta.
Watersports World Television series on Sky Sports will broadcast the half hour documentary 'The Regatta' at the following times this week:
Made by Baily Films, the company behind earlier critically-acclaimed water-based documentaries The Bay, The Harbour, The Estuary and The Navy, it features spectacular on-board footage from a range of craft competing in the event. The Regatta takes viewers both on board the competing craft, and behind the scenes, to examine the challenges thrown up by organising such a large-scale event on the bay. Involving over 3,000 competitors, and 25 different classes, the Volvo regatta was one of the largest participant sports events in Ireland this year.
